Exam information.

  • There will be written exams on Monday, 15 February, 10.15-12.45 and Tuesday, March 9, 10.15-12.45.

  • I will upload the problems to eCampus at 10.15 and your solutions need to be uploaded to eCampus by 12.45. This should give you 15 minutes to download the problems, 15 minutes to upload your solutions and 2 hours to work on the test.

  • The exam will be ungraded (pass or fail), but I will give you an indication of the grade that you would have received under normal circumstances.

  • The exam will be open-book: use of the lecture notes is allowed and encouraged. However, you should not try to answer the problems by using the internet in any other way (in your own interest).

  • You will be asked to fill in and sign the form "Affirmation in lieu of an oath" where you declare that you have not received external assistance in completing the exam. The form needs to be uploaded along with your solutions when you submit them to eCampus.

  • You will need a scanning device (e.g. phone) or tablet. Please be aware that the only acceptable format for your solutions is pdf (department guidelines) and that the solutions must be in your own handwriting. You can either write on paper and take a scan, or write on a tablet and export the result. Please limit the size of your files to 500kB per uploaded page in order to avoid overloading the eCampus platform.

  • Please note that converting your files into pdfs may not be straightforward and you might be short on time. I suggest making a few tries before the exam to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day.

  • In case of technical issues during the upload or download of the files, you will be asked to provide proof in the form of photos, screenshots and/or videos.
